MINEOLA, NY February 13, 2004–The Mineola-based law firm, Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP (FCSMC&C), has named Aaron Gershonowitz a partner of the firm, which was founded in 1976. Gershonowitz, a resident of West Hempstead, joined FCSMC&C in 1996, concentrating his practice in environmental law, particularly in the environmental aspects of land use and commercial real estate, and representation of potential responsible parties at Superfund sites, defense of enforcement actions and obtaining environmental permits. At FCSMC&C, he has been instrumental in the complex transactions pertaining to Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Long Island property.
