AutoShutdown makes it easy to log off a user, restart Windows, or shut down your entire computer system, either at a set date and time, after a period of inactivity, or when a hot key is pressed. AutoShutdown gives you one-click access to all of your PC’s common power-related features, including shutdown, restart, logoff, standby, hybernating, and lock workstation. In addition to saving money by powering down inactive computers, AutoShutdown’s security features can keep unauthorized people from gaining access to your computer’s sensitive information. AutoShutdown can delete files by moving them to the recycle bin, or clean files by over-writing them to ensure that they are destroyed.
