Brugge, Belgium September 16, 2004 — Mark Van Overmeire, a composer, guitar player and percussion performer from Belgium, has been quite busy after the release of his brand new CD “Impresiones” in August. The Pat Metheny Group and Yo Yo Ma influenced musician has spent 6 weeks in the street child care center CEAMAC. “This has been the most rewarding experience of my life,” Mark comments. “The love that I received from the children was so overwhelming. It breaks my heart to see them wander to an uncertain future.” Mark composed ‘Os Meninos Inocentes’ (The Innocent Children) after his stay with the Children of Luiz.
