LOS ANGELES – “I love doing weddings because it’s like a story, watching someone’s life unfold before you,” says Jeff Carrillo of his career in wedding photography. “You capture these moments and they’re magical.” The intimacy and artistry of Carrillo’s work have placed the young photographer in high demand among the elite. He’s currently in Tuscany to shoot the wedding of Anna Getty, granddaughter of J. Paul Getty. A major American fashion magazine has asked him to send the along the Getty wedding photos when they’re done; they’re considering a Carrillo exclusive on the story, placing his images front and center. “When I’m photographing someone, I’m really blessing their wedding by giving them this energy. I’m showering their wedding with love.” He recently poured devotion on the nuptials of “Baywatch” star Angelica Bridges and Sheldon Souray, defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens; and the lavish wedding of Herb Simon (Mr. Mall of America) and former Miss Universe Porntip Nakhirunkanok of Thailand, where the governor of Bangkok represented the bride’s family.
