– Small Potatoes, Vancouver based organic home delivery company (www.spud.ca), offers its customers the new book “Traffic Life” which deals with car culture and alternative modes of transportation, to help raise awareness of road congestion and safety. Customers can order the book together with their custom food selection, and the book will be delivered along with vegetables and produce in their weekly tote bin. The launch day of the book was chosen to be World Health Day 2004 (April 7), dedicated to Road Safety. This new anthology contains short stories, poems, music, cartoons, paintings and drawings about the problems of traffic and the absurdities of the prevailing car culture. Edited by Stephan Wehner and published by wandering soliton publications, this fast-paced romp through our streets includes works by forty contributors from around the world.
