August 5, 2004 — GrandRapidsLive.com has announced the addition of an automated classified ads section to its website. West Michigan residents will now have the ability to easily post classified ads online in nine different categories including personals, real estate, apartments, autos, watercraft, rummage sales, services, pets and animals, and merchandise. Those interested in advertising an item will be able to log in and create a personal account and id. The customer can then decide on a title and description for the item, upload a picture, and pay securely online with a credit card. Each item listed will have its own detailed full page and unlimited ad edits, setting itself apart from competitors. The posted listings will be easily searchable by visitors browsing for items in particular categories, such as apartments or autos.
