If you are like me, then you dislike auto repairs. Of course I love using my car, and wouldn’t cease driving regardless of how much a head ache it can be when it needs to be fixed. Probably the repair that I hate the most with my car is the muffler.

Buying a new muffler can be like going to the dentist. It is not like getting a new paint job, or new tires that maybe make the car look nicer. Therefore we don’t like spending money on it. Lets look at a few options to getting the most for your money while buying your next exhaust system.

Many of the gas saving devices being advertised do not work and can actually damage your vehicle.

The Environmental Protection Agency did tests on over 100 fuel saving devices and found that most did not improve efficiency at all and the rest didn’t improve it by that much.
