Utah auto insurance laws set the minimum amount of liability insurance coverage to be legal in the state. Insurance coverage helps to pay for the expenses that result from being in an accident. Below are some facts on the liability coverage that is required and other options you have.

State law will require that you have a specific limit of property damage liability coverage to pay the expenses of the damage to the other person’s vehicle or property if you are responsible for the accident. You will also have to carry bodily injury liability coverage to pay for the other person’s medical bills.

The California Lemon Law was passed by the state legislators and governor so that vehicle consumers would find some relief from ‘lemon’ vehicles. Officially known as the Song-Beverly Act, the California Lemon Law will cover all vehicles; automobiles, trucks, SUVs, recreational vehicles and even motorcycles. Generally speaking, the California Lemon Law covers vehicles that have been unable to be repaired after a ‘reasonable’ number of attempts.
