Common Car Accident Injuries

by Bart Icles

Extensive studies have revealed that car accidents injuries are the no. 1 leading cause of injuries and deaths in America, with at least almost 50,000 individuals dying per year. On average, about 3 million people suffered car-related injuries per year, and about 70% or 2 million or so will have to live with long-term and/or permanent disability.

Some of the common injuries that any victim will have in car accidents are broken bones in various parts of the body, head injury or concussion, facial fracture, and whiplash. Broken bones, fractures, and dislocations are the most common of injuries any one can sustain when involved in a car accident; most injuries are located but not limited to the areas of the arms, legs, and clavicle.
