Gas prices may have dropped from the crazy four-dollar-plus per gallon that it was last summer, but it still isn’t cheap. With prices hovering around three dollars per gallon, it still takes a huge bite out of the budget. Here are 6 steps you can take to get more for your money, and keep more money in your wallet – where it belongs!

1. Keep tires properly inflated. Improperly inflated tires are harder to spin and create extra drag. Check your tires frequently – it doesn’t cost anything! Not only will you save on gas, but you’ll be driving safer.

Have you every thought to yourself, “I shouldn’t be paying this much for car insurance” well, if you have you are not alone. In the U.S. we are required to have car insurance, it is the law and who are we to oppose our judicial system?
