It is common to view chips or cracks in a car windshield as little more than an inconvenience, and a problem that is not essential to repair. Unfortunately, this is not the case. While high-tech materials have certainly improved vehicle safety, even slight damage to a windshield poses a potentially serious safety hazard.

Auto glass damage can make it harder to see the road in certain conditions. A small chip or crack may be in an out of the way place at first, but damage has a way of spreading over time. This could put the driver, the passengers, other motorists and even pedestrians at risk.

A motor vehicle accident can be a terrifying experience. However, the problems rarely stop after the accident when a personal injury is suffered.
