If you are like me, then you dislike auto repairs. Of course I love using my car, and wouldn’t cease driving regardless of how much a head ache it can be when it needs to be fixed. Probably the repair that I hate the most with my car is the muffler.

Do it yourself, or take it to the service man? I have done both and unless you own a nice shop with an abundance of sophisticated tools I would take it to the exhaust pros. I have hammered on those pipes with dirt, and rust getting in my eyes to many times. Plus if I get it installed professionally there is normally a guarantee.

Overall changing your exhaust is a pretty painless event and can many times be done in a few short hours. So, the next time that you notice that your car is sounding louder then normal, take it in and get the exhaust exchanged. Why drive around for weeks with unnecessary noise.
